L'huile de Galba
YELLOW GOLD, although always associated with the metal, corresponds to another treasure of the same color, much more essential to the development of Man.
Phytobôkaz's oilseed sector highlights the exceptional properties of vegetable oils derived from our biodiversity.
The development of this sector is still inspired by
once strongly of the symbiotic economy and
ranges from culture to the revaluation of co-products.
Our Galba oil is a good example of this.
After cultivation based on the principle of agroforestry, where fauna and flora collaborate in symbiosis, the harvest of Galba seeds is
initiated by bats who, better than humans, control the degree of ripening of seeds.
This is followed by the production of the oil which provides access
to various applications:
In cosmetics : antioxidant, anti-wrinkle, regenerative properties;
In specific skin care : healing properties;
In industrial mechanics: anti-friction properties.
In a circular economy approach,
The by-products from the production of Galba oil are put to good use. For example, the fruit shells are used to make activated charcoal and the oilcake is used to feed livestock.

• Oil obtained from a first cold pressing of galba seeds grown in Guadeloupe (France) with life (phyto symbiotic product) : rhizobacteria, bees, bats.
• Cosmetic product.
• Patent application filed in 2018 with the CNRS in Montpellier.
• Origin of packaging: bottles (Embelia, France), cartons (Cartonage Larre, France).
• Grown by a farmer with the GDA ECOBIO label (organic farming).
• The only plant benefiting from the POSEI "aromatic and medicinal plants" designation
in Guadeloupe, implemented by ODEADOM since 2011.
